Everything You Need to Know (About) the Kitchen Sink

Kitchens are always at the top of our minds, so we were thrilled when we came across an inspiring blog post from design blog Things That Inspire on “The Kitchen Sink.”

In it she explores in great detail the placement of sinks–who knew so many people placed apron-front sinks in kitchen islands, she asks. She also expounds on her favorite faucets, giving several gorgeous examples of “bridge” faucets, and asks some great questions, like “Are you on the single bowl or double bowl team?

2008 Christmas Showhouse’s Dream Kitchen

Guy T Gunter Appliances was named Appliance provider for the 2008 Christmas Show house, designed by Harrison Design Associates and built by Canonbury Homes. The Alliance Christmas Show house is an achievement indeed. The Kitchen provided by Design Galleria featured many of the latest designs in the kitchen and bath industry. The appliances found in the kitchen were provided by Sub-Zero , Wolf , and Asko . Here we find two Sub-Zero 736TCI Fully Integrated Refrigerators flanking a Wolf DF486CG Range, a Wolf WWD30 Warming Drawer Fully Integrated and an Asko D3251XLFI Fully Integrated Dishwasher, notice the integration of the toe kick that was achieved using Design Galleria know-how and Guy T Gunter Appliance installers. Next we move into the Bar, where we find a Sub-Zero 315I Integrated Ice machine, a Sub-Zero UC-24BG/O Beverage Cooler, a Wolf MWC24 Convection Microwave, and a Miele 4066 Coffee Machine. With a tight time table and a discerning eye for detail it’s no wonder that Guy T Gunter Appliances was picked to be the Appliance partner in the 2008 Christmas Show house.
